On November 3rd, the 2020 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was grandly held in Beijing. Professor Yang Zaibin, the chief designer of SD BIOTECH GROUP's technology innovation, participated in the completion of the "Illustrated Livestock and Poultry Standardization Scale Breeding Series Series" project, which won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award.

The "Illustrated Series of Standardized Livestock and Poultry Scale Breeding" aims to address the prominent problems in the current development of China's livestock industry, based on national and industry needs, with the goal of popularizing scientific breeding knowledge and advanced applicable production technologies, and transforming production and operation methods. It integrates the standardized connotation and green development concept of "good breeding of livestock and poultry, standardized breeding facilities, standardized production, institutionalized epidemic prevention, and harmless treatment of manure" throughout the entire creative process, effectively solving the "last mile" problem of scientific and technological achievements transformation. The "Goat Standardized Scale Breeding Atlas" is edited by Professor Yang Zaibin. As a doctoral supervisor, Professor Yang has guided over 120 graduate students and obtained 25 appraisal results, 12 provincial and ministerial level awards, 5 invention patents, 4 national utility model patents, and 12 direct enterprise transformation results. He has also led the customization of 9 local standards and published more than 300 academic papers both domestically and internationally. At the same time, Professor Yang also serves as the director of the Institute of Animal Nutrition at Shandong Agricultural University, vice president of the Shandong Feed Industry Association, chairman of the Shandong Green Antibiotic Free Feed Alliance, executive director of the Feed Branch of the China Grain and Oil Society, and expert of the Shandong Feed Standard Review Committee. He has presided over several important positions, including the National 863 Program, National Science and Technology Research, National Science and Technology Support Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Agriculture Public Welfare Industry (Agriculture) Research Special Project, Shandong Province Science and Technology Research, Major Science and Technology Innovation Project, Agricultural Major Application Technology Innovation Project, and International and Domestic Enterprise Horizontal Cooperation Project, making outstanding contributions to the development of animal husbandry.

Famous teachers guide the way, technology takes the lead. SD BIOTECH GROUP has been deeply cooperating with Professor Yang Zaibin through project cooperation, technical exchanges, and talent cultivation. As a unit that completes technology assembly and industrialization demonstration cooperation, the group participated in the research and application of key technologies for environmentally friendly pig and poultry antibiotic free feed and alternative breeding led by Professor Yang Zaibin in Shandong Province. During this period, two achievements, "Research and application of key technologies for functional premix and high-quality eggs for laying hens" and "Research and application of key technologies for star anise feed utilization", have reached the "international advanced level". Among them, "Research and application of star anise feed utilization and key technologies" won the "Shandong Province Livestock Science and Technology" award. On January 1, 2021, Shengdao Biotechnology Group officially hired Professor Yang Zaibin as the Chief Designer of Technology Innovation for the group. In the future, SD BIOTECH GROUP will continue to follow the guidance of technology, promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, assist in the development of animal husbandry, and contribute to improving the modernization level of livestock and poultry production, standardizing production technology, and enhancing the quality and safety of livestock products.
