On November 25, 2020, Zhu Baoku, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Animal Science and Technology at Shandong Agricultural University, Professor Yang Zaibin, Professor Yang Weiren, Associate Professor Jiang Shuzhen, and Li Zhaoyong, Chairman of Shengdao Biotechnology Group, and their delegation went to Shandong Huayu Group, Dongying Blue Ocean Group, Zibo Hefeng Seed Industry Technology Co., Ltd. and other enterprises for a two-day industry university research exchange.
The expert team's first stop was Shandong Huayu Group. Shandong Huayu Group is a comprehensive enterprise group that integrates poultry breeding, chicken seedling hatching, broiler feeding, vegetable production, feed production, and broiler processing and export trade.
The company is a teaching and research base of Shandong Agricultural University and a strategic partner of SD BIOTECH GROUP. In order to adapt to scientific research and promotion in colleges and universities, and facilitate the nutritional and safety evaluation of feed and additive products, the group has specially established a breeding farm capable of raising 160000 commercial broiler chickens, a commercial farm with 300 commercial pigs, and a breeding mother pig house with 100 pigs. Equipped with a comprehensive experimental center for evaluating feed nutrition, meat quality, and food safety. In the past 10 years, the thesis of 20 graduate students from Shandong Agricultural University and the large-scale application research experiments of 15 nutritional regulation additives have been completed in these bases.
Yu Yunting, Vice President of Huayu Group, Song Shigang, Technical Director, and a team of experts jointly inspected the broiler slaughter workshop and feed production workshop, and discussed and exchanged ideas on current scientific research projects, making substantial progress in future industry university research cooperation.
The second stop expert team arrived at Dongying Blue Ocean Yiyuan Ecological Base. Blue Ocean Yiyuan Ecological Base is one of the earliest cooperative units to provide a research base for the landing of SD BIOTECH GROUP Yanning products. After this symposium, more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation will be carried out in the production of high-quality eggs and pork.
Finally, the expert team went to Zibo Hefeng Seed Industry Technology Co., Ltd., a modern seed industry enterprise that integrates crop research and breeding, experimental demonstration, production and processing, and business services. It is the "Teaching, Research and Employment Practice Base of Shandong Agricultural University", "Regional Experimental Station of Crop Varieties in Shandong Province", and "Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Internship Base of Zibo Communist Youth League"; Zibo Crop Breeding Industrialization Engineering Technology Research Center. Established the first private agricultural science institute in Zibo City, Zibo Hezhong Agricultural Science Research Institute.
Zhu Junke, Chairman of Zibo Hefeng Seed Industry Technology Co., Ltd., accompanied the expert team to inspect the ecological circular agriculture project of Hefeng Seed Industry.
Professor Yang Zaibin provided guidance on beef cattle breeding bases during the symposium, and guided and technically transformed the research project "Research on the Synergistic Promotion of Intestinal Health and Production by Bacteria and Enzymes", which was jointly completed by Shengdao, Agricultural University of China, and Hefeng.
