Summary:
The aim of this experiment is to investigate the effect of different amounts of Yanning C1 on the production performance of medium speed ephedra chickens. 360 26 day old medium speed ephedra chickens were selected and weighed as initial weight, and randomly divided into three treatments, with two replicates in each treatment and 60 chickens in each replicate (see Table 1). Treatment 1 serves as the control group and is fed with a basic diet; Treatment 2 is experimental group 1, with the addition of 300g/t of Yanning C1 on top of the control group; Treatment 3 is experimental group 2, with the addition of 800g/t of Yanning C1 on top of the control group. The experimental period is 21 days, with daily recorded feed intake and final weight measured at 46 days of age to determine production performance. The measurement results indicate that:
Production performance:Taking the production performance indicators of the control group as 100%, Experiment 1 added 300g/t of Yanning C1 to the daily grain, with a total weight gain of 103.61%, an average daily weight gain of 103.61%, an average daily feed intake of 101.62%, a feed to meat ratio of 97.76%, and a slaughter weight of 101.59%; Experiment 2 added 800g/t of Yanning C1 to the daily feed, resulting in a total weight gain of 98.74%, an average daily weight gain of 98.74%, an average daily feed intake of 98.51%, a feed to meat ratio of 99.55%, and a slaughter weight of 100.11%. Adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 increased total weight gain by 3.61%, average daily weight gain by 3.61%, average daily feed intake by 1.62%, feed to meat ratio by 2.24%, and slaughter weight by 3.61%.

1. Materials and Methods
1.1 Test Materials
Yanning C1: Provided by Shengdao Biotechnology (Shandong) Group Co., Ltd
1.2 Experimental animals and design
360 26 day medium speed ephedra chickens were selected and weighed for initial weight. They were randomly divided into three treatments, with two replicates per treatment and 60 chickens per replicate (see Table 1). Treatment 1 serves as the control group and is fed with a basic diet; Treatment 2 is experimental group 1, with the addition of 300g/t of Yanning C1 on top of the control group; Treatment 3 is experimental group 2, with the addition of 800g/t of Yanning C1 on top of the control group. 2. Results and Analysis
2.1 Comparative analysis of production performance
The effect of adding Yanning C1 to the diet of medium speed ephedra chickens on production performance is shown in Tables 2 and 3. Taking the production performance indicators of the control group as 100%, adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 resulted in a total weight gain of 103.61%, an average daily weight gain of 103.61%, an average daily feed intake of 101.62%, a feed to meat ratio of 97.76%, and a slaughter weight of 101.59%; Adding 800g/t of Yanning C1 resulted in a total weight gain of 98.74%, an average daily gain of 98.74%, an average daily feed intake of 98.51%, a feed to meat ratio of 99.55%, and a slaughter weight of 100.11%. Adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 increased total weight gain by 3.61%, average daily weight gain by 3.61%, average daily feed intake by 1.62%, feed to meat ratio by 2.24%, and slaughter weight by 3.61%; Adding 800g/t of Yanning C1 reduced total weight gain by 1.26%, average daily weight gain by 1.26%, average daily feed intake by 1.49%, feed to meat ratio by 0.45%, and slaughter weight by 0.11%. Adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 can effectively improve the production performance of medium speed Ma Huang chicken.
3. Conclusion
Compared with the control group, adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 can effectively improve the production performance of medium speed Ma Huang chicken. The total weight gain increased by 3.61%, the average daily weight gain increased by 3.61%, the average daily feed intake increased by 1.62%, the feed to meat ratio decreased by 2.24%, and the slaughter weight increased by 3.61%.
Compared with the control group, the addition of Yanning C1 800g/t did not significantly improve the production performance of medium speed Ma Huang chickens. This is because the addition of Yanning C1 800g/t is an excessive addition, and the main active ingredients in it will cause excessive consumption of the diet for medium speed Ma Huang chickens. Therefore, it is not recommended to add excessive amounts.
In summary, adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 to the diet of medium speed ephedra chickens can effectively improve their production performance, and excessive addition is not recommended.
