Abstract:The aim of this experiment is to investigate the effect of different amounts of Yanning C1 on the production performance of 46 day-83-day-old medium speed Ma Huang chickens. 360 medium speed Ma Huang chickens aged 46 days were selected and weighed at the initial weight. They were randomly divided into three treatments, with two replicates in each treatment and 60 chickens in each replicate (see Table 1). Treatment 1 serves as the control group and is fed with a basic diet; Treatment 2 is experimental group 1, with the addition of 300g/t of Yanning C1 on top of the control group; Treatment 3 is experimental group 2, with the addition of 800g/t of Yanning C1 on top of the control group. The experimental period is 37 days, with daily recorded feed intake and final weight measured at 83 days of age to determine production performance. The measurement results indicate that:
Production performance:The production performance indicators of the control group were 100%. The addition of Yanning C1 300g/t resulted in a total weight gain of 100.59%, an average daily weight gain of 100.59%, an average daily feed intake of 100.29%, a feed to meat ratio of 99.71%, and a slaughter weight of 101.04%; Adding 800g/t of Yanning C1 resulted in a total weight gain of 103.75%, an average daily gain of 105.96%, an average daily feed intake of 100.19%, a feed to meat ratio of 94.55%, and a slaughter weight of 103.75%. Adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 increased total weight gain by 0.59%, average daily weight gain by 0.59%, average daily feed intake by 0.29%, feed to meat ratio by 0.29%, and final weight gain by 1.04%; Adding 800g/t of Yanning C1 increased total weight gain by 3.75%, average daily weight gain by 5.96%, average daily feed intake by 0.19%, feed to meat ratio by 5.45%, and final weight gain by 3.75%.

360 46 day medium speed ephedra chickens were selected and weighed for initial weight. They were randomly divided into three treatments, with two replicates per treatment and 60 chickens per replicate (see Table 1). The experimental period lasted for 37 days, with daily feed intake recorded and final weight measured at 46 days to assess production performance.

Production performance: Record daily feed intake and weigh at 46d and 83d respectively. Calculate the average daily feed intake, average daily weight gain, and feed to meat ratio.
2. Results and Analysis
2.1 Comparative analysis of production performance
The effects of adding Yanning C1 to the diet of medium speed ephedra chickens on production performance at 46-83 days of age are shown in Tables 2 and 3. Taking the production performance indicators of the control group as 100%, adding 300g/t of Yanning C1 resulted in a total weight gain of 100.59%, an average daily weight gain of 100.59%, an average daily feed intake of 100.29%, a feed to meat ratio of 99.71%, and a slaughter weight of 101.04%; Adding 800g/t of Yanning C1 resulted in a total weight gain of 103.75%, an average daily gain of 105.96%, an average daily feed intake of 100.19%, a feed to meat ratio of 94.55%, and a slaughter weight of 103.75%. Adding Yanning C1 can effectively improve the production performance of 46-83 day old medium speed yellow chickens, with a more significant effect at 800g/t.
3. Conclusion
Adding Yanning C1 to the 46-83d medium speed Ma Huang chicken diet can increase daily weight gain and feed intake, reduce feed to gain ratio, and improve production performance. Compared between the two experimental groups, the effect of 800g/t is more significant.
